Accommodation
Adventure Homestay is a hundred year old beautifully restored cottage, that you will share with your hosts, world travellers and professional photographers, Harold and Betty Mason and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Byron. Enjoy personal attention and service. Because of the isolation of this hidden valley retreat, the accommodation includes cooked breakfast, lunch and gourmet dinner featuring local game and fish. Relax after dinner with a glass of port before retiring between warm, quality linen sheets.
Attractions
Seddonville is situated in a valley on the Mokihinui River, on the northern West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand. The valley is surrounded by majestic mountain ramparts and native bush covered hills. This historic area is a 30-minute scenic drive north from Westport. The Mokihinui River is an excellent all year
trout fishing river with best fishing October through April.
The valley has many attractions including the Charming Creek
Walkway, a highly –praised, easy, 3-hour walk featuring mining relics amid dramatic and beautiful gorge scenery which includes the mighty Mangatini Falls, suspension bridge, 50 metre-long tunnel and rock arches and overhangs. The Chasm Creek Walkway is only a few minutes walk from the homestay and is a short track, which follows an old railway route, with sculptured river bluffs and views, colourful moss banks and an old railway tunnel complete with glow worms.

How to get there
By road, 55kms north of Westport on State Highway 67. Turn right to Seddonville just before the Mokihinui Bridge.
By air from Wellington to Westport Airport. Pick-up available from Westport Airport. NZ$100.00 2 persons. There are two flights daily return from Wellington to Westport.

Third and fourth guests: $160.00 per person per night.
